I'm Lisa, Founder of New Jersey Clinical Consulting. I'm passionate about educating professionals on best practice supported by cultural competence and trauma-informed principles. I began NJCC following the pandemic, as a response to the growing need for Telehealth based psychotherapy, professional license supervision needs, and a growing organizational utilization of remote-based learning.
In our current social climate, it's imperative that we prioritize education and training in areas such as DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), trauma-informed principles, and employee engagement. Organizations must be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to create safe and inclusive spaces for clients and staff; especially those from underrepresented and marginalized communities.
I'm optimistic about the impact that access to supervision, education, and training can have on both the individual client and the organizations that serve our communities. By prioritizing ongoing professional development and support, we can ensure that our staff are equipped with the tools to provide the highest quality of care to our clients. This, in turn, can positively impact the lives of those we serve, as well as contribute to the overall health and well-being of our communities. I look forward to continuing this important work with all of you.
